Our family moved to the Spokane area in 2012 and realized our dream to own a working farm. The large red barn was built in 1903 and used to be a dairy. We continue to make improvements and modification to the farm, all while raising our children, livestock and working at our 'other jobs'. Hopefully soon we can be full time farmers.
Our farm value is to raise our animals as naturally as possible. We do not give antibiotics, growth promoters, dock tails, or confine our animals indoors (except during birthing or extreme weather. We are working towards having 100% non-GMO feed and allow the animals to forage on diverse foods throughout the farm. We do grow our own hay and control what goes into our ground. While we will never be a certified organic farm, we do try to practice organic management.
Below are some pictures of the farm and the family.
